“Toshiba’s first universal docking station, dynadock U, has proven to be popular with business professionals and consumers looking for a more versatile workstation. The device even has Ethernet LAN connectivity and can power and charge MP3 players or other electronics through the Sleep-and-Charge USB port. In addition, the docking station is built with four USB 2.0 ports and 3.5mm audio in and out. The product can enable add-on peripherals such as external monitors, keyboards, mouse, printers, routers, headsets and other accessories even while using a single USB cable to plug into the PC. It is half as big as the dynadock U and one third thinner, which makes it an excellent, space efficient conduit for peripherals. The dynadock V is designed as a consumer-aimed connectivity and multi-tasking solution for home and office setups. The product builds on the technology and design used in the first of the line, the dynadock U, and combines a true desktop environment with high resolutions, enhanced productivity and easy software installation. Offering the same universal compatibility as its predecessor, the dynadock V docking station was recently unveiled by Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD).
